Pankaj K. Jain (MBA, CFA, Ph.D.) is the Suzanne D. Palmer Professor and Associate Professor of Finance at the Fogelman College of Business & Economics at the University of Memphis. He held the Morgan Keegan Professorship during 2004-2005. His industry experience includes 3 years with a leading investment bank and present consulting ties with the world’s foremost financial and information organizations such as the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), National Stock Exchange, and Google Inc.
He teaches Global Financial Management and Fianncial Analysis and Certifications to Ph.D., MBA, and undergraduate students.
He has published his international research on investments and financial market design in leading journals such as Journal of Finance, Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Financial Research, Journal of Empirical Research, Financial Management, and Contemporary Accounting Research. He is the winner of multiple research awards and academic excellence awards from University of Memphis, Indiana University, Eastern Finance Association, Morgan Stanley, National Stock Exchange, and Price Waterhouse Coopers LLC.
His research has been presented at the leading national and international conferences of American Finance Association (AFA), Western Finance Association (WFA), National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER), Financial Management Association (FMA), and also cited in several textbooks and journals. Dr. Jain has served as an expert reviewer for National Science Foundation (NSF), Review of Financial Studies, Journal of Banking and Finance (Italy), Journal of Financial Research, Economic Journal (UK), Journal of Financial Services Research, Prentice Hall, and Mc-Graw Hill; as a program committee member, session chair and discussant at FMA, EFA, MFA, and Capital Market Institute at Toronto; as a Judge for MBA case competitions; as an advisory council member and the faculty director for the Wang Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER).
