Dr. Christine Jiang is Professor of Finance and Interim Department Chair in the Department of Finance, Insurance, and Real Estate in the Fogelman College of Business & Economics, University of Memphis. Dr. Jiang is also an Honored Professor of Finance at School of Management, Fudan University in Shanghai, China during 2009-2011.
Dr. Jiang's research includes issues in market microstructure, investments, and international finance. Over the years, Dr. Jiang has made numerous presentations at national and international conferences. She has published many articles on market microstructure, investments, and international finance in leading journals such as Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Journal of Financial Markets, Journal of Banking and Finance, Financial Analysts Journal, Decision Science, and other refereed journals. She received Outstanding Paper Award from Journal of Financial Research in 2011. Her works have been featured in articles in Financial Times, Dow Jones News Service, and other financial news media. She was awarded the Suzanne Downs Palmer Professorship in Research in 2003-2004 and 2006-2007 at the University of Memphis. Dr. Jiang has taught graduate (MBA, Ph.D., EMBA) and undergraduate level Investments, Financial Management, and Corporate Finance at leading U.S. schools for over 20 years.
Dr. Jiang earned her Ph.D. in Finance from Drexel University, her M.S. degree from the Sloan School of Management, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a B.S. degree from Fudan University in Shanghai, China.
